There are a lot of fat loss plans out there promising fantastic results for little to no effort on your part. Think of the rule that usually when you are offered something for nothing and it sounds way too good to be true, it is? Well, the sad fact is that the vast majority of these instant fat loss plans are, in fact, too good to be true. They do not deliver the results promised, and for the couple of plans that work (if you call taking off water weight working), or the plans are downright dangerous and should never be attempted.
Quite a few of the infomercials you see in the early morning or late at night on television employ models who are genetically slender but have gained weight recently due to pregnancy or illness, a very dirty trick. Many models used for the ‘before’ picture, whether they use the advertised system or do not, are genetically predisposed to losing that weight easily, after a few months they are able to be photographed as an ‘after’ picture and get their cash. One trick is to find skinny people who were fat in their past, and use that old photo and call it the ‘before’ picture. Always be on the lookout for dated clothing in the photo to reveal the false claim.
Some fat loss plans claim to be able to give you the body you have always dreamed of simply by taking a few pills a day and making no other changes to your routine. Listen, snake oil salesmen did not expire after the Victorian era, they just used better video editing. Any system that insists you will lose fat and pounds for no work is dangerous or fraudulent and either way you should not commence.
True fat loss plans are holistic things. Incorporate changes in your diet, exercise, even in your daily routine as well as trying to have a positive view of your body. Permanent weight loss is hard work and you have to be willing to eliminate the things that are keping your body fat.
