The fastest way to lose weight is through diet and exercise, period.   That means taking in fewer calories than you burn. You don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight. In fact that could actually cause you to gain more weight because your body will enter what is called “starvation mode”. This is not a good situation and can do some real damage to you. Over the past years, I’ve compiled a lengthy list of easy lifestyle changes that combine to build a long-term, practical approach to dieting. Add a few of these habits to your present routine individually until they become habit. Before long, you’ll notice better, more lasting results if you truly absorb these habits. Ice cold water: drink an ice-cold glass of water (make it at least a pint) when you first wake up and before every meal. Your body will be forced to raise the water to its temperature, burning a few extra calories. Additionally, it will make you feel more full when you eat and help keep you properly hydrated.

Add negative calorie foods: there are a handful of foods out there that consume more energy when burned than are contained within the foods themselves; i.e. they have a net negative caloric impact. That is, in this example, give yourself an extra 510 calories on every fourth day. This will keep your body guessing.
