1. Never ever skip breakfast!
This is something you’ve probably heard before, but it’s true.It’s a shame that lots of people do skip breakfast, because if you’re trying to lose weight then you really should be eating breakfast.Your metabolism is kick-started with breakfast. It also provides the energy you need without having to turn to junk food.
2. It is so much better to eat less and have it more frequently.
The body will slow down the metabolism if you go more than three hours without eating as it thinks food is scarce.To help the metabolism to speed up the advice is to eat about six times a day.Even though its fine to snack, the six small meals should be made up of lean meat, complex carbohydrates, fruit and vegetables – definately not unhealthy foods like fast and convenience foods.
3. Fidgeting a Lot!
Remember those lean, high-metabolism folk, let’s take another look at them.These lean people who eat lots, have high metabolisms must burn off the extra energy somehow, research suggests that it’s because they fidget!They just don’t seem to be able to even sit still.Try to copy them. Whenever you’re sitting just shake your feet.
