You see a lot of people these days with excess arm fat. Too much arm fat can have you feeling horrible about yourself so I get why you’d want to get rid of it. Your friends might poke fun at your arms saying that you have bat wings. But really arm fat isn’t anything to laugh at.

If you have too much arm fat, you might feel embarrassed to go out wearing clothes that show off your arms or go down to the beach.

Luckily, you don’t have to live with arm fat and feel ashamed to show off your arms. Here are a few tips you can use to start losing arm fat.

Your first instinct is to probably focus on exercises that target your arms, but this isn’t the most productive method to lose arm fat, so put down the dumbbells. This is because you can’t just focus on one section of the body and burn fat there. This won’t help you lose fat on your stomach, your butt, or your arms.

The only true way to lose arm fat is to focus on losing overall body fat. Once you begin losing weight over your whole body, you’ll find that you also begin losing arm fat to boot. You will be much skinnier and sexier overall.

A good starting point for losing general body weight is to do cardio exercises. Start jogging or bicycling, or even consider a form of intense aerobic dancing if that helps. You’ll burn away calories and improve your overall heart health.

For the second part we will be focusing on building muscle. You burn more calories when you have higher muscle mass in your body. Muscles need fuel, and the more muscles you have the faster they will dip into your reserves of fat to feed themselves.

Your legs and buttocks are the largest muscle groups in your body. So to find the quickest results, we want to put our energy on these muscle groups. This seems unusual, but when you start strengthening your legs, you’ll lose arm fat. When you begin to see how your muscles and fat work together, you’ll get the big picture. Begin by building your legs muscles with lunges and squats. These workouts will give you a big bang for your buck.

Finally you want to adopt a diet that will boost your metabolism. Don’t try those usual diets that just starve your body. These diets will only slow down your fat loss. Your metabolism will slow down if you starve your body with these dangerous diets.

So this should start you losing arm fat. So get started immediately and you’ll be showing of your arms before you know it.
